The leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) at the Ganesha Education University (UNDIKSHA) consisting of Deputy Deans I, II, and III, as well as the Secretary of Chemistry, the Secretary of Mathematics, the Secretary of Physics and Science Teaching, the Chair of the FMIPA Quality Control Group and the Speaker’s Delegation participated. took part in the meeting activities of 12 representatives of the MIPA Faculty, who are members of the Indonesian LPTK MIPA Association Organization (AMLI), Thursday-Friday (13-14/10/2022) at TC Damhil, Gorontalo State University. The meeting was preceded by a meetingInternational Conference on Sciences, Mathematics and Education yang This is an important moment in efforts to strengthen institutional capacity through the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. The annual meeting aims to elect new administrators, account for the previous administrators (2019-2022 period), and discuss academic and student programs from faculty to study program level, which can later be carried out jointly among AMLI members.
The Chancellor of Gorontalo State University (UNG) through the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance Dr. Ir. Yuniarti Koniyo, MP, hopes that through this forum AMLI members can continue to strengthen synergy and partnerships, in developing capacity so that they can then play a greater role in the nation’s progress through Tri Dharma Higher Education activities.
According to Prof. Astin, at this AMLI meeting moment, it is very important for the UNG Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty to collaborate with each other as well as equalize perceptions and experiences, to serve as examples and guidelines in improving the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Apart from international conferences, the AMLI meeting agenda will discuss educational problems and issues in Indonesia, especially in the fields of mathematics and science. “We will later share programs with each other. “In the future, we will try to adopt programs that are not in FMIPA UNG from AMLI member universities and vice versa, so that this association will be stronger in the future,” she explained.
