Singaraja. The 2023 LKTI will be held by the faculty of Animal Husbandry Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (FPKP) Nusa Cendana University orUndana Kupang. Implementation of LKTI in 2023 is a routine agenda for FPKP Undana Kupang. A total of 24 participants competed on Monday (6/11/2023). This activity carried the theme Modern Technology to Increase Productivity and Efficiency in the Livestock, Maritime, and Fisheries Sectors.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dr Franchy Christian Liufeto together with the committee team, Ayi Djonu explained, that this activity was able to stimulate the interest of students from all over Indonesia to express their scientific thoughts and concepts in writing. “Information on LKTI activities has been disseminated to several universities that have Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Faculties throughout Indonesia, since 2 months ago, and received a positive response,” said Dr Franchy.
According to Dr Franchy, as many as 24 finalists have prepared to take part in the examination by the panel of judges in the field of Animal Husbandry, namely Dr. Ir. Obed Haba Nono, MP, Prof. DR. Ir. Wilmientje Marlene Nalley, MS and Dr. Ir. Emma D. Wie Lawa, MP.
In the event, the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) held by the faculty of Animal Husbandry Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (FPKP) Nusa Cendana University orUndana Kupang Two Study Programs at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Ganesha Education University managed to win 2 championships, namely:
- Runner-up students from the Aquaculture Study Program on behalf of Hani Fattus Sabrina Anam, Ni Kadek Martha Ayu Saraswati, and Ni Kadek Ratih Intan Pratiwi, with the scientific work title: Innovation of Triviidae Shellfish Waste into Contemporary Accessories to Support a Sustainable Economy with supervisor Dewi Wulandari, M.P
- 3rd place students from the Fisheries Biotechnology and Aquaculture study program, on behalf of Kadek Ayu Asih Suryani, Immanuel Kristo Lombong, and Joy Steven Immanuel with the scientific work title: Utilization of Omega 3-rich Virgin Fish Oil Extract to control Stunting in children, with Supervisor Gressty Sari Br Sitepu, S.Pi., M.Si.
Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Dr. I Wayan Sukra Warpala, S.Pd., M. I expressed his appreciation congratulated the winners, and expressed his thanks to the supervisors, and the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty Gembrak Achievement team. Hopefully, this success will be the beginning of extraordinary achievements in the future. Continue to innovate, develop, and be an inspiration for future generations.
