This collaboration was located at the Aveda Hotel, Petitenget, Badung-Bali, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si signed the MOA in collaboration with the Director of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization-Regional Center for Food and Nutrition (Seameo Recfon) Prof. dr. Muchtaruddin Mansyur, Ph.D. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement in the framework of the Implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi or Three Pillars of Higher Education which included the fields of Education, Research and Community Service.
The Seameo Recfon is a center for food and nutrition education studies which was previously known as the Seameo Tropmed Regional Center for Community Nutrition (RCCN). Seameo Recfon focuses on four main areas of its programs and activities, namely Capacity Building or Seminars and Workshops, Community Development, Research and Consultancy, and Training Degree Programs.
The Scope of this Cooperation Agreement which in detail includes the following matters
- Education and Teaching
- Implementation of joint Research and Community Service programs
- Joint publication
The dean of FMIPA UNDIKSHA, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si, welcomed this collaboration “I really hope that the signing in this morning can improve the quality of superior and intact human resources, including students and alumni who are smart for various professions. I also hope that this collaboration can improve the teaching quality of lecturers with interactive learning. In addition, to strengthen the inter-campus organizations through the introduction of work programs. So that, later we will exchange ideas,” he said
