Singaraja. On Sunday, 19/12, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, again held the 2021 MIPA AWARDS activities semi-online. Even in a pandemic situation, this activity must still be held, because the MIPA AWARDS is a major activity in the MIPA faculty and is a means of appreciation for students, lecturers, and staff who have excelled this year. MIPA AWARDS is one of the Flagship Work Programs from BEM FMIPA Undiksha.
Chairman of the MIPA AWARDS Committee, Riyan Wibawa, said that the current pandemic situation was an obstacle in planning this activity because many of the committee members had not been able to come directly to Singapore for preparations. However, he hopes that this year’s MIPA AWARDS activities can give rise to new seeds to motivate other friends to excel and also prepare athletes and artists who will represent the MIPA Faculty contingent in the upcoming DIES NATALIS.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Student Executive Board (BEM) Gde Rama Isimunuartha said that this year’s MIPA AWARDS activity system combines the offline system in previous years and the online system in last year.
“This year’s MIPA AWARDS system is a little different, namely being carried out semi-online, where invitees can come directly to the UNDIKSHA Auditorium or via the platform provided. The nominees and winners of the competition are expected to come directly to the Auditorium to collect the trophy and winner’s certificate directly.
Even though it is carried out semi-online, the committee has designed it in such a way that the existence of the MIPA AWARDS activity is maintained, namely giving as much appreciation as possible to all those who have excelled within the MIPA Faculty.
Chairman of BEM Gde Rama Isimunuartha hopes that in this MIPA AWARDS, he hopes that there will be increased awareness among students to always excel wherever they are, both at the department and international level. So that later we can further advance the name of the Department, Faculty, and University
