In the clouds of November, students from the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ganesha Education University, students on behalf of Kadek Jayanta under the guidance of Mr. Dr. I Nyoman Sukajaya, M.T succeeded as Second Place Ambassador for the 2023 Indonesian Men’s Planning Generation (Genre). Jayanta’s victory was announced at the peak night of the Genre Ambassador Appreciation and National Youth Creativity Event Jamboree 2023 which was held at Taman Indonesia Kaya, Semarang City, Central Java. Prizes and sash were given directly by Plh. Head of BKKBN RIRI, Drs. Tavip Agus Rayanto, M.Sc.
Through this momentum, we, BKKBN, hope for support and cooperation from various parties as well as the active involvement of our children, our teenagers, and our genres to work together to help create a quality Indonesian population through efforts to accelerate the reduction of stunting. “One of the efforts made is through preventing stunting from upstream, starting from teenagers,” he said.
He also continued, that efforts to prevent stunting in the teenage phase are carried out by educating teenagers starting with reproductive health, nutrition, and preparing life for teenagers. It is hoped that this can encourage and support how to ensure that their nutritional needs are met so that they do not rush into marriage so that they are ensured that they do not engage in risky behavior that can cause pregnancy at a young age.
This annual event is held to select youth figures as role models for young people who are creative, innovative, and have advanced thoughts to prepare for the future with the theme “Indonesian genres towards 13 which are in harmony moving together, collaborating, in realizing youth meaningful.”
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Undiksa Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dr. I Wayan Sukra Warpala, S.Pd., M.Sc appreciated and congratulated Jayanta as the Second Place Ambassador for the Indonesian Men’s Planning Generation (Genre) in 2023, and also expressed his thanks to the supervisor.
“I am proud and congratulate Jayanta, I hope this award is not just a sling, but I hope Jayanta can become a role model for his peers and help spread the “virus” of the KRR triad, namely Genre must be zero of the 3 problems of teenagers, namely not getting married in “Children’s age, not having free sex and not experimenting with drugs and playing an active role in accelerating the reduction of stunting,” he said (FMIPA)
