Singaraja. (12/09/23) Located in the seminar room of the UNDIKSHA Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ganesha Education University held an Academic Quality Improvement Seminar with the theme “Applications of Nuclear Technology for Health, Industry and the Environment. This seminar activity invited speakers from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), namely Prof. Ir. Yohannes Sardjono, APU. The activity was attended by lecturers and students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and also from the Undiksha Faculty of Medicine. The activity was opened directly by the Dean of FMIPA Dr. I Wayan Sukra Warpala, S.Pd., M.Pd
The Dean of FMIPA appreciated the opportunities provided by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) for students. “After this seminar, hopefully, children will have more open minds regarding the benefits of nuclear science and technology,” he said.
Seminar-participating students also welcomed this opportunity. “The material is good and the delivery method is easy to understand, and the presenters are very interactive. “It opened my view about nuclear,” explained Gede Wisnu Ambara Putra, one of the seminar participants.
Likewise, Kezia Monica Putri expressed the benefits of her participation in this seminar. “After taking part in this activity, I gained a lot of new knowledge. At first, I was afraid of nuclear weapons, but it turned out that my fear was caused by my ignorance. “Thank you, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the MIPA faculty for holding this event, it is very useful,” said Kezia.
