Singaraja. The Biology Education study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ganesha Education University, as one of the study programs receiving MBKM grants in 2021, has implemented 3 forms of learning activities outside the study program. The four forms of learning activities include 1) student exchange activities with Surabaya State University (UNESA), Semarang State University (UNNES) and Jember University (UNEJ), 2) teaching assistance activities in educational units (SMA N 1 Singaraja, Balimandara High School and SMA Undiksha Laboratory), 3) internship/work practice activities in 5 agencies (BBPOM, LIPI/Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Gardens, Buleleng Regency Environmental Service, Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation/BIONESIA, Horticultural Plant Seed Center).
On Saturday (11/9/2021) the Biology education study program held the handover of internship/work practice students by the Dean of the MIPA faculty, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si to 5 partner agencies, namely the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service, the Center for Food and Drug Monitoring (BBPOM), the Center for Horticultural Plant Seedling, the Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Gardens and the Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (BIONESIA). This activity is held virtually/online. 21 students took part in internships. This student handover activity was also attended by the Chair of the Undikhsa KKN Center, Chair of the Undiksha PKL Center, head of the PKKM unit, Deputy Deans in the FMIPA Environment, Heads of Departments in the FMIPA Environment and Lecturer Staff in the Department of Marine Biology and Fisheries. This activity was warmly welcomed by the partners and it is hoped that it can provide students with more meaningful experiences and provisions to answer the challenges of the world of work in the future hopefully this activity can bring benefits to all of us.
