Singaraja. The Bachelor of Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Ganesha Education University, succeeded in achieving new achievements in the field of accreditation on Tuesday (07/3). The Study Program (Prodi) accreditation changed to ‘SUPERIOR’ with a score of 366 following the Decree of the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) Number: 298/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/III/2023.
Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Sc. explained that this increase in accreditation is an achievement as well as an achievement as a form of supporting the quality of study programs. “This achievement is also the first this year on the scale of the Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. “Of course, it will be constructed as a whole to encourage study programs at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Undiksha itself and also other faculties throughout the Ganesha University of Education,” explained Prof. Nengah Suparta.
This accreditation goes through various quite complicated processes and requirements. Some obligations and conditions must be fulfilled so that accreditation can be achieved. “There are many requirements that must be met, including vision and mission, governance and service, facilities, budget, alumni, learning, and the quality of research and service on a national and international scale. Very comprehensive,” said Prof. Nengah Suparta.
Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.SI stated that this accreditation marks the quality and competence of the study program, especially for the students themselves. This accreditation achievement cannot be separated from the contribution and collaboration between all academics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ganesha Education University. All levels, including leaders, officials, lecturers, teaching staff, and students, also participated in making this accreditation a success. The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences also expressed his deepest thanks to all parties who were involved in this LAMDIK field assessment, he explained.
Prof. I Nengah Suparta added that the main focus and challenge lies in the daily implementation of this accreditation assessment. The entire academic community is obliged to contribute and collaborate in maintaining and improving quality because the main point of quality lies in the application and actualization itself.
