Singaraja (25/07/2023). Mathematics Education Undergraduate Study Program, FMIPA Undiksha received a visit from Lecturers and students of Mathematics Tadris FTIK UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. The activity was carried out under the collaborative title Academic Seminar by presenting 2 speakers, namely Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Si. from Undiksha Mathematics Education, and Mr. Akhmad Faridh Ricky F, M.Pd. from UIN Gusdur Pekalongan with the seminar theme being EthnomathematicsThe activity was opened by the Head of the Mathematics Department, Prof. Dr. I Putu Wisna Ariawan, M.Sc. The activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, with 150 people offline at the Undiksha Seminar Building, and 180 participants online via Zoom. The group of lecturers and students of Tadris Mathematics FTIK UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan were welcomed by the Department and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Undiksha.
This activity was carried out with the aim that lecturers and students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan gain experience, namely that they can learn directly from educational institutions that have been able to manage education in a superior and professional manner. Through this activity, students are expected to have an overview of curriculum implementation, teaching and learning programs, education staff management, and existing infrastructure in the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ganesha Education University.
This activity also initiated several collaborations in the form of MoA, such as joint seminars, joint research, MBKM activities, and so on. The activity ended with a group photo, friendly hospitality, and giving souvenirs between both parties. (fmipa)
