(11/18/21) MB-KM or Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (Freedom to Learn- Independent Campus) Programme is a programme launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which aims to encourage students to master various sciences to prepare them to enter the world of work. Through this policy, Independent Campus gives students the opportunity to choose the courses they will take. Students are given the opportunity to take courses outside the study programme at the same university. In addition, students can also take courses in the same study programme at different universities, take courses in different study programmes at different universities; and/or learning outside of tertiary institutions.
On Wednesday, 17th November, 2021 at the UNDIKSHA FMIPA Seminar Room, the Science Education Study Programme of UNDIKSHA (Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha) received a visit from the Science Education Study Programme of Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, this activity discussed the management of MB-KM curriculum and scientific journal to the Science Education Study Programme of UNDIKSHA. The activity began with the signing of a cooperation agreement by the Coordinator of Science Education Study Programme of Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, Mochammad Ahied with the Coordinator of Science Education of UNDIKSHA, Dr. I Nyoman Suardana, M.Si. This activity was attended by the Deputy Dean of the FMIPA of UNDIKSHA environment, the Head of the Science Education Study Programme, Lecturers, employees and students from both parties.
In his remarks the Dean of FMIPA of UNDIKSHA, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si said that this activity was very useful as a place to share knowledge related to the structuring of the MB-KM curriculum so that it could be implemented so that the learning outcomes of graduates could be achieved optimally. In addition, this activity can improve the quality of the management of scientific journals in each institution,” he said in his remarks. “With the initiation of collaboration and curriculum benchmarking, it will be expected to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of higher education between the two parties,” hoped the Dean of FMIPA of UNDIKSHA.
After signing the cooperation agreement, the activity continued with active discussions between the two study programmes related to the MB-KM curriculum which had been implemented by both parties. The discussion was very interesting and the lecturers were very enthusiastic about participating in the activities.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Science Education Study Programme of Universitas Trunojoyo Madura said that the purpose of his party was to carry out a visit to UNDIKSHA, namely in the context of a comparative study for the management of scientific journals and the structuring of the MB-KM curriculum. We want to evaluate the curriculum in our study programme after discussing it with the Science Education Study Programme of UNDIKSHA,” concluded Mochammad Ahied.
In the context of the internal quality assurance question and answer session, journal management and student final assignments became hot topics of discussion. At the end of this comparative study, a group photo session was held and a closing speech.
